A new drug Tafenoquine to treat Malaria caused by mosquitos has been approved by USA Food and Drug Administration for general use after 60 years. It is specifically for the recurring form of malarial disease caused by Plasmodium Vivax which remains dormant in liver for may be many years and reawakening many times after. This type of malarial disease affects 8.5 million people each year and causes illness. It is manufactured by Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) as brand name, Krintafel.

The latest stable point release version 3.2.1 of GNU Bison has been released. Bison is a general-purpose parser generator. It provides an implementation of compiler-compiler (yacc). From Linux Kernel Version 4.19, building it requires GCC version 4.6 and up
With Linux Kernel Version 4.19 and newer, building it requires GCC C compiler version 4.6 as minimum. Previously for compiling Linux Kernel from sources, the minimum version of GCC C compiler version required was set at 3.2. From now on compiling linux kernel version 4.19 and newer, the kernel source build script would explicitly check for GCC 4.6.0 or newer and fail out on older ones.
